The teacher complained about people not bothering to read his How To Take an English Exam PDF, apparently never actually checking on it to see that it was displaying in a manner that rendered it unreadable. Quizzes include questions that amount to “choose the correct interpretation of this poem/this poetic element.” I got marked down for selecting that a common theme of H.D.’s poetry was Greek Mythology rather than Legends from Roman antiquity… despite the fact that the distinction between the two is nearly nonexistent — there’s only a few genuinely exclusively Roman legends, at least that have survived — and that where there is a distinction, “Greek Mythology” seems to be more accurate. x.x; I’m going to drop this mess before it counts against me.
